This is my Dad, we took him to the Veterans Hospital on friday for Cataract surgery. Lots of prayers going up. And everything turned out great. His surgery was a success and he is seeing much better. I took this picture of him last year on his birthday. We had a birthday tea and we all had to wear a hat. It was really fun. My dad just loves to try different foods. He is a really a good cook too. His name is Thelvin and a real norwegian. Love my Dad!

Dad

I have heard that this surgery is amazing when done, a friend of mine who is a quilter just had hers done and she is so happy to see clearly and she says that colors are so much prettier! Your dad looks like a nice man, is it his birthday now?
